The 2018-2019 school year marks Ryan Allen’s 5th year at Notre Dame High School as a Guidance Counselor. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, Mr. Allen worked in higher ed in admissions, financial aid, and and advancement. Mr. Allen received his Master’s in School Counseling from Gwynedd Mercy College (now University) in 2013 where he worked as Assistant Director of Admissions. He is a proud graduate of DeSales University and Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia. When he’s not working, Mr. Allen loves nothing more than spending time with his wife and 2 kids.

Mrs. Mary Angelucci, known by her students as la señora Angelucci, is in her fifth year as one of the Spanish teachers in Notre Dame’s language department. Prior to her arrival at ND, she taught elementary Spanish in several of ND’s feeder schools, notably St. Jane’s and OLPH.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Mrs. Angelucci earned her B.A. in Spanish from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN. One of her most loved and rewarding experiences was studying in Valencia, Spain during her sophomore year in college. She also holds a Master of International Management, which led to her relocation to the Lehigh Valley. She worked as the Latin American account representative for an international chemical company prior to starting a family. She is grateful for the blessings of a wonderful family, her husband, the magician “Mr. Lou,” and her two children who are involved in undergraduate and doctorate study.

Mrs. Atileh is a mathematics teacher that thinks teaching students is a rewarding experience. Mrs. Atileh teaches so that she can learn about the world and all the infinite possibilities that young minds bring to the classroom each and every day. She graduated from Moravian Collage with a post-baccalaureate secondary certificate (Math 7- 12) five years ago. Mrs. Atileh was a substitute teacher at Easton School District’s Middle School for about two years. She joined NDHS family on November 2016. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family; Mrs. Atileh’s three daughters and husband are the most important parts of her life. Reading and watching movies are also her favorite hobbies.

Mrs. Bach received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Performing Arts
Outreach with certification in English and Secondary Education from
Moravian College. After graduation, she worked as a high school
English teacher in Allentown while pursuing her graduate degree. She
earned her Master of Education degree in Higher Education-Student
Affairs Administration from Kutztown University. She also received her certification as a program specialist in English as a Second Language grade PreK-12.
Following completion of her graduate program, Mrs. Bach worked at
Northampton Community College in the offices of Student Life &
Leadership Development, Career Services, and Academic Advising. Most
recently, she worked as a career counselor and Director of Student
Activities at a high school in Philadelphia.
In addition to her position at Notre Dame, Mrs. Bach is an adjunct
professor at Northampton Community College where she teaches the
freshman seminar course. She also serves as the Marketing Director for
a community theater group where she also previously served as the
production manager and assistant director.
In her free time, Mrs. Bach loves to go camping, read, and spend time
with her husband Aaron, son Christian, and 2 greyhounds.

Michael Bedics is a 1993 graduate of Notre Dame HIgh School. After graduating from Allentown College with a degree is Sports Management he began to work in the Dioceses of Allentown. He then received his degree in Education from DeSales University. He has been teaching at Notre Dame since 2008. He is also the Head Baseball Coach at NDHS.

Miss Boccardi graduated Suma Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and Religious Studies with a minor in secondary education from the Catholic University of America. Her time there also included a semester of study in Rome. Upon graduation she became the Director of Adult Faith Formation at Incarnation of Our Lord parish in Bethlehem, PA. One of the highlights of her time there included creating a street evangelization team.
Following her parish work, Miss Boccardi served as interim campus minister at the Lehigh University Catholic Newman Center as well as Assistant Director of Adult Faith Formation for the Allentown Diocese Office of Evangelization. In 2014, she began teaching theology at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary High School in Pottsville, PA. She then began teaching theology at Notre Dame High School in 2015. She has served as the department chair since then.
Additionally, Miss Boccardi serves as an instructor with the Allentown Diocese Institute for Catechesis and Formation. She is currently pursuing a certification with The Theology of the Body Institute.

Michele Bonner has been teaching in the Diocese of Allentown for the past 40 years. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1969 and earned a B.S. in education from Kutztown University. In 2006, she joined the Notre Dame faculty.
Currently, she teaches English, Study Skills and oversees the Learning Commons.

Miss Brennan is an Aquinas teacher and also serves as the department chair for the Aquinas Program at Notre Dame. Miss Brennan graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Special and Elementary Education. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Academic Standards and Reform from DeSales University. Miss Brennan has been teaching in the Diocese of Allentown for seven years and is a Master Catechist. She is an active member of Saint Anne’s Church in Bethlehem and graduated from Allentown Diocesan schools.

The following year, Mrs. Cartier wished to not only share her knowledge of Mathematics but also her faith. She joined the St. Jane’s School family for three years where she instructed 7th and 8th graders in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 7th grade Religion. In 2016, she had the pleasure of joining her home parish , Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Bath, PA, as an middle school instructor of Mathematics and Religion. In 2017, she became the Director of Religious Education as well at Sacred Heart Parish. She then began teaching mathematics at Notre Dame High School in 2019.
Additionally, Mrs. Cartier serves as the secretary of Juventutem Lehigh Valley, a local chapter of Fœderatio Internationalis Juventutem. The international young adult organization works closely with the Diocese of Allentown to promote the sanctification of youth through the mass in the Exraordinary Form.
Mrs. Cartier and her husband are proud graduates of Notre Dame High School Class of 2008. They both continue to cherish the memories and friends they made during their four years of formation at NDHS. Mrs. Cartier is happy to be home at her Alma Mater again with the sons and daughter of Notre Dame. Always faithful, loyal, and true.

June Castellano came to Notre Dame in 1986 as a volunteer in the Spiritual Activities Center assisting Fr. Larry Hess. Included responsibilities were scheduling Masses, confessions, and retreats. Mrs. Castellano was hired as a fulltime employee as Director of Finance in 1989, the first year that ND used computers for finance and attendance. In the early nineties, the principal at ND changed her job responsibilities and Mrs. Castellano became his private secretary and Office Manager. As the Alumni/Development office was expanding in 2005, Mrs. Castellano became the liaison working with the administration, Advisory Board, diocesan officials, alumni and donors. Today, she continues in the Development Office as Administrative Assistant to the Director.
Mrs. Castellano has lived in Bethlehem Township since 1984 with her husband of 52 years, Frank. They are the very proud parents of two daughters, both graduates of Notre Dame and extremely proud grandparents of four grandsons and one granddaughter, all members of their family are parishioners Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Bethlehem Township.

A native of Queens, NY, Mr. D’Angelo comes to Notre Dame High School from his previous role as Principal of Our Lady of Angels Regional School in Morton, PA. Prior to OLA, Mr. D’Angelo served as Director of Governance & Board Development in the Office of Catholic Education for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. As Director, he worked to recruit, train, and support boards of limited jurisdiction in schools throughout the Archdiocese. In addition to his work with school boards, Mr. D’Angelo had a seat on the Executive Board of Education, the Executive Committee of the Foundation for Catholic Education, and the Board of the Elementary School Administrators Association.
Prior to relocating to Philadelphia, Mr. D’Angelo taught every grade from first to twelfth, as well as teachers and catechists in continuing faith formation courses for the Diocese of Brooklyn. Most recently, he ministered for six years at Holy Cross High School in Flushing, NY, where he served as Assistant Principal for Student Life, Director of Campus Ministry, and a member of the Theology Department. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and a Master’s Degree from Saint John’s University.
