The 2018-2019 school year marks Ryan Allen’s 5th year at Notre Dame High School as a Guidance Counselor. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, Mr. Allen worked in higher ed in admissions, financial aid, and and advancement. Mr. Allen received his Master’s in School Counseling from Gwynedd Mercy College (now University) in 2013 where he worked as Assistant Director of Admissions. He is a proud graduate of DeSales University and Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia. When he’s not working, Mr. Allen loves nothing more than spending time with his wife and 2 kids.

Mrs. Mary Angelucci, known by her students as la señora Angelucci, is in her fifth year as one of the Spanish teachers in Notre Dame’s language department. Prior to her arrival at ND, she taught elementary Spanish in several of ND’s feeder schools, notably St. Jane’s and OLPH.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Mrs. Angelucci earned her B.A. in Spanish from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN. One of her most loved and rewarding experiences was studying in Valencia, Spain during her sophomore year in college. She also holds a Master of International Management, which led to her relocation to the Lehigh Valley. She worked as the Latin American account representative for an international chemical company prior to starting a family. She is grateful for the blessings of a wonderful family, her husband, the magician “Mr. Lou,” and her two children who are involved in undergraduate and doctorate study.

Mrs. Atileh is a mathematics teacher that thinks teaching students is a rewarding experience. Mrs. Atileh teaches so that she can learn about the world and all the infinite possibilities that young minds bring to the classroom each and every day. She graduated from Moravian Collage with a post-baccalaureate secondary certificate (Math 7- 12) five years ago. Mrs. Atileh was a substitute teacher at Easton School District’s Middle School for about two years. She joined NDHS family on November 2016. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family; Mrs. Atileh’s three daughters and husband are the most important parts of her life. Reading and watching movies are also her favorite hobbies.

Mrs. Brittany Baker is a certified English Teacher from Bethlehem, PA. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in English/Professional Writing from Kutztown University in 2008, and completed her Instructional 1 Teaching Certification in English Language Arts, Secondary Education from Point Park University in 2017 with honors.
Mrs. Baker has a background in editorial and advertising having worked for two newspapers and one magazine prior to earning her teaching certification. She began her teaching career at Seven Generations Charter (Middle) School and then went on to teach as a Middle School Long-Term Substitute at Innovative Arts Academy and Bethlehem Area School District.
Mrs. Baker has worked with the Penn State Lehigh Valley Writing Project in her former classrooms and has also completed several seminar certifications through Point Park University including Multiple Intelligences, English as a Second Language, and Professionalism.
In addition to teaching several English and Literature courses at Notre Dame High School, Mrs. Baker is a part-time SAT Prep Tutor, and is currently working toward earning her Master’s Degree from Point Park University in Professional Development.

Michael Bedics is a 1993 graduate of Notre Dame HIgh School. After graduating from Allentown College with a degree is Sports Management he began to work in the Dioceses of Allentown. He then received his degree in Education from DeSales University. He has been teaching at Notre Dame since 2008. He is also the Head Baseball Coach at NDHS.

Mrs. Beltz is a native of the Lehigh Valley and began working at Notre Dame in June of 2006. Prior to Notre Dame she worked in the Accounting Office of the Diocese of Allentown’s Temporal Affairs Office. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from DeSales University.

Miss Boccardi graduated Suma Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and Religious Studies with a minor in secondary education from the Catholic University of America. Her time there also included a semester of study in Rome. Upon graduation she became the Director of Adult Faith Formation at Incarnation of Our Lord parish in Bethlehem, PA. One of the highlights of her time there included creating a street evangelization team.
Following her parish work, Miss Boccardi served as interim campus minister at the Lehigh University Catholic Newman Center as well as Assistant Director of Adult Faith Formation for the Allentown Diocese Office of Evangelization. In 2014, she began teaching theology at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary High School in Pottsville, PA. She then began teaching theology at Notre Dame High School in 2015. She has served as the department chair since then.
Additionally, Miss Boccardi serves as an instructor with the Allentown Diocese Institute for Catechesis and Formation. She is currently pursuing a certification with The Theology of the Body Institute.

Michele Bonner has been teaching in the Diocese of Allentown for the past 40 years. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1969 and earned a B.S. in education from Kutztown University. In 2006, she joined the Notre Dame faculty.
Currently, she teaches English, Study Skills and oversees the Learning Commons.

Miss Brennan is an Aquinas teacher and also serves as the department chair for the Aquinas Program at Notre Dame. Miss Brennan graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Special and Elementary Education. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Academic Standards and Reform from DeSales University. Miss Brennan has been teaching in the Diocese of Allentown for seven years and is a Master Catechist. She is an active member of Saint Anne’s Church in Bethlehem and graduated from Allentown Diocesan schools.

After retiring from Federal employment, Alan Bush has employed his two degrees from East Stroudsburg University into his second decade at Notre Dame. He teaches social studies and History with a concentration on the essential question of how people treat people. Students in his classes experience and begin a life-long quest of MTRC: Make the Right Choices.

Nancy is the current Notre Dame High School Director of Development and a very proud ND alumna from the Class of 1982. Her journey after high school took her to both Dickinson and Moravian Colleges. Soon after, she married and became the mother of two wonderful children, David and Kelly. In high school and college, she worked summers as a bank teller which became a perfect foundation for what would become a career in the financial service industry.
Nancy worked her way from the teller line to branch management to market manager to finally Vice President of Business Relationships for the Warren County, NJ region. She had the opportunity to work for two DE novo banks, which are banks that were considered start-up financial institutions and therefore had no customers and no accounts on day one. What a learning experience in sales, marketing, lending, accounting and bank management! Throughout her banking career, she had the opportunity to attend several academic programs for banking and management and attained her certification in Financial Services and Banking through Dickinson College and the Advanced School of Bank Management and Lending through Bucknell University. She also was involved in several non-profit agencies and served on many boards during her banking tenure. Nancy was part of the Executive Board, Board Chair and Campaign Chair for United Way of Warren County; was a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Society of Warren County; Executive Board member and Board Chair for the Warren County Chamber of Commerce; a member of the Phillipsburg Urban Enterprise Zone board; a member of the Board for the Phillipsburg Downtown Association and also a member and Past President of the Easton Lions Club, where she still serves today. In 2010, she served as Chairwoman of Easton Heritage Day, leading a team of dedicated individuals in the planning of the annual historical and community festival for 10,000 visitors.
After deciding she wanted to transition her skills to the non-profit world, Nancy accepted the position of Director of Marketing and Member Services for the YMCA of Easton-Phillipsburg. She then saw the opportunity to join the Diocese of Allentown as an Advancement Director as they rolled out the partnership with the Healey Education Foundation. She has served the Diocese since 2012 at St. Michael’s the Archangel School, Pius X High School, Bethlehem Catholic High School and now for 3 plus years at her alma mater, Notre Dame. She has continued to train under Healey as well as through NCEA, Partners in Mission and La Salle University School of Non-Profit Management, where she will attain her certification in Non-Profit Management in 2019.
She loves working with the students at ND in the Key Club and also with the ND families. She currently is the grant writer for the school and has secured over $100,000 to help students with financial aid. She enjoys planning alumni events and learning how successful our graduates have become and how tied to our Mission they continue to live. In her free time, she enjoys boating and traveling with her husband Jim. She also enjoys spending time with her daughter Kelly, who is the Executive Director of a non-profit in New Jersey, and her husband Rick as well as her son David, a high school math teacher, and his wife Ashley. She has a passion for the sport of wrestling and follows her son as he is the head coach for one of the most winning programs in New Jersey. She and her husband are the extremely proud grandparents to two wonderful girls, Madison and Mackenzie and look forward to watching them learn, explore and love life.

June Castellano came to Notre Dame in 1986 as a volunteer in the Spiritual Activities Center assisting Fr. Larry Hess. Included responsibilities were scheduling Masses, confessions, and retreats. Mrs. Castellano was hired as a fulltime employee as Director of Finance in 1989, the first year that ND used computers for finance and attendance. In the early nineties, the principal at ND changed her job responsibilities and Mrs. Castellano became his private secretary and Office Manager. As the Alumni/Development office was expanding in 2005, Mrs. Castellano became the liaison working with the administration, Advisory Board, diocesan officials, alumni and donors. Today, she continues in the Development Office as Administrative Assistant to the Director.
Mrs. Castellano has lived in Bethlehem Township since 1984 with her husband of 52 years, Frank. They are the very proud parents of two daughters, both graduates of Notre Dame and extremely proud grandparents of four grandsons and one granddaughter, all members of their family are parishioners Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Bethlehem Township.

A native of Queens, NY, Mr. D’Angelo comes to Notre Dame High School from his previous role as Principal of Our Lady of Angels Regional School in Morton, PA. Prior to OLA, Mr. D’Angelo served as Director of Governance & Board Development in the Office of Catholic Education for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. As Director, he worked to recruit, train, and support boards of limited jurisdiction in schools throughout the Archdiocese. In addition to his work with school boards, Mr. D’Angelo had a seat on the Executive Board of Education, the Executive Committee of the Foundation for Catholic Education, and the Board of the Elementary School Administrators Association.
Prior to relocating to Philadelphia, Mr. D’Angelo taught every grade from first to twelfth, as well as teachers and catechists in continuing faith formation courses for the Diocese of Brooklyn. Most recently, he ministered for six years at Holy Cross High School in Flushing, NY, where he served as Assistant Principal for Student Life, Director of Campus Ministry, and a member of the Theology Department. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and a Master’s Degree from Saint John’s University.

Mrs. Dollard has been a teacher of literature, composition and math for 16 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from The University of Rhode Island and began her teaching career in Massachusetts. She and her family (husband, David, and daughters, Delaney and Caileen) moved to the Poconos in 2006, where she taught at Stroudsburg Middle School. Mrs. Dollard has been with the Diocese of Allentown since 2012, first at Pius X High School in Bangor, and has now been with Notre Dame since 2016 teaching American and World Literature as well as SAT Preparation.
