Biographical Info

Mr. Dennis Fenton was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA. He has dedicated his entire teaching career to the students at Notre Dame High School where he currently teaches American History and Driver’s Education.

Mr. Fenton attended St. Anne’s Elementary School in Bethlehem and graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School in 1972. After that, he attended Slippery Rock State College and graduated from Millersville State College in 1977 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education, specializing in secondary education. Mr. Fenton continued his graduate studies at East Stroudsburg University and was a graduate assistant there.

Well-known in the Lehigh Valley for his long career in wrestling, Mr. Fenton began wrestling for the CYO in elementary school and continued as a scholar athlete at Millersville. Mr. Fenton was a wrestling coach for 33 years, including his 23-year tenure as head wrestling coach at Notre Dame High School, during which time he helped develop many district, regional, and state champions.
