Mrs. Mary Angelucci, known by her students as la señora Angelucci, is in her fifth year as one of the Spanish teachers in Notre Dame’s language department. Prior to her arrival at ND, she taught elementary Spanish in several of ND’s feeder schools, notably St. Jane’s and OLPH.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Mrs. Angelucci earned her B.A. in Spanish from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN. One of her most loved and rewarding experiences was studying in Valencia, Spain during her sophomore year in college. She also holds a Master of International Management, which led to her relocation to the Lehigh Valley. She worked as the Latin American account representative for an international chemical company prior to starting a family. She is grateful for the blessings of a wonderful family, her husband, the magician “Mr. Lou,” and her two children who are involved in undergraduate and doctorate study.
