Honors Spanish 3

Course Description: This course is a review as well as an expansion of the most difficult grammar points in the Spanish language and an introduction to Spanish literature. Classes are mostly conducted in the target language. We will utilize the Realidades text in addition to other handouts and resources throughout the year. Each chapter consists of vocabulary, grammar and a small excerpt of Spanish language literature to introduce students to the themes of Spanish literature as well as to polish their reading comprehension skills. Students will also be given plenty of opportunity to enhance their writing skills. Students will continue to strengthen vocabulary and grammar skills learned in Spanish 1 and 2 and will acquire more advanced grammar skills by learning grammar topics such as the subjunctive mood and the  future and conditional tenses.
