Monday:  Finish up project on Holland for The Hiding Place, Present project, review chapter summaries for test on Wednesday, 9/18/19.

Wednesday:  Summer Reading Test, begin Narrative Essay focusing on foreshadowing (finish for homework – due typed on Friday 9/20/19.)

Friday:  Read the short stories “The Cask of Amontillado” and “A Sound of Thunder” and discuss foreshadowing, suspense and tone and mood in preparation for a Narrative Essay portraying these literary terms.
