Week of 3/2/2020

This week we will begin CH.11. We will tackle this chapter with a Jigsaw activity where students will each have a role within a group to become an expert on their topic. Each group will have a power of Congress and will be expected to define the power  what does it say/mean), what type of power it is ( implied, expressed, or inherent) , history ( legislation, events, court cases, etc.) and current issues. controversies.  Students will then present to the class their power . Worksheets will be given out as reinforcement. Notes for this chapter are on a class google docs. Students should have access to it to study from.
