Monday: DRA’s and body paragraph outlines for RA Gandhi essay due. We discussed use of the Acronym CPE PEAT for the generation of body paragraphs.

HOMEWORK: SET a TIMER for 25 minutes and write your RA essay – round two. IF you do go over the time alotted, please note how much extra time you needed to get the job done. You already have your intro completed, so that should help.

Wednesday: Entire Gandhi essay due. We will discuss the highs and lows of the process, then move on to the revisions of the ARGUMENT essay from the midterm. Be sure to have your exam with you. (PURPOSE of EDUCATION). We will review the examples of students who earned a 1/4/1 on Argument essays to determine what earned them the points, particularly the sophistication point. We will look at the thesis statements generated on the exam and work on revisions.
