Tuesday: DRAs due. Review of Midterm Exam. Please schedule individual consultation time with me to review your essays. In addition, we will review the Rhetorical Analysis prompt and begin the re-writing process.

Homework: Rewrite thesis for the RA prompt and bullet point 3 rhetorical choices that support that thesis.

ALSO: please read chapter six in everything’s an argument.

Thursday: Review of revised thesis and supporting points. Rewriting intro paragraph. Selection of evidence. If we have time, we will review the argument prompt and revise thesis.

Homework: Please write at least two paragraphs of the body, three if needed. Be sure to focus on the choices MLK made and use the devices as support and evidence. Commentary is key, should be the bulk of your body paragraphs, and MUST be tied back to the thesis in each case.
