Good morning! I hope all of you are doing well and have not yet been driven mad by boredom.

In an attempt to provide some brief, thoughtful entertainment (insert derisive laughter here), I decided to post a glorified free-write. Please feel free to answer on a Google Doc page and share it with me. It is not graded, but I would love to see your thoughts and argumentative techniques.

The prompt is: What’s the better writing implement, a pen or a pencil? Do you think there is a correlation between writing implement and success? How do you think this could be tested? Throughout your schooling so far, have you ever been told to use one or the other implement? What had been the teacher’s reasoning? Do you agree?
