FRENCH I- IR ISS VERBS

today’s lesson was about the IR-ISS verbs. We have learned about the IR-SST verbs aka Pacman. those are only 6 verbs known as some people dont sleep much sundays; or  sortir, partir dormir, sentir, ,mentir, servir.

 

The IR- ISS verbs are conjugated like most other regular verbs, in that you drop the e IR ending and replace with: -is, -is, -it in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person singular AND : ISSONS, ISSEZ, ISSENT, in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person plural.  Ex: the verb Obeir>>> OBE becomes, Obéis, Obéis, and Obéit in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person singular AND OBéissons, Obéissez and Obéissent in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person plural.
