- Review agglutination with students
- Lab:
- students will be given unknown simulated blood samples and identify whether the samples are blood types A B AB or O using simulated antibodies (graded assignment)
Thursday, February 27th – A Day
Friday, February 28th – B Day
- Lecture:
- Begin discussion on blood spattering
- Discuss the various patterns associated with spattering
- Classwork – work on spattering and typing packet in groups
- Lab: (if time allows)
- students will take various blood spatters and identify the point of origin for each spatter
- students will create their own spatters and measure the point of origin for each spatter
