ENV SCI, 4B: WK 2/4- 2/8

This week, will work on CH 6.3, Grassland, Desert and Tundra Biomes, PP 155-163. As a class we will read/discuss Case Study: A Little Piece of Cajun and WDYT, P 165. Students will complete a fold note study guide (DUE: MON 2/10). They will prepare vocabulary(6) and objectives(3) plus PPT and video notes for a NTBK CK(DUE: THU 2/6). HMWK will include Q 26-31 on PP 168 and studying for a quiz on CH 1.1-1.3 for THU 2/6.

This week students will work to finalize their animal-food web projects. At this time each group member should have researched/documented 5 animals: (to include but not limited to)

STEP 1
a) common name/scientific name
b) description
c) habitat/biome/range
d) predators/prey
e) status-thriving,threatened, endangered, etc..
f) drawing/pic

STEP 2
A drawing of a food chain-web to share with group members to aide in the design of the final project.

Class time will be allotted to project completion (DUE: WED 2/12).
