We will complete skills assessment on CH 4 as culmination of the Rock Cycle. The WS packet will count as a test grade. Students will update their NTBKs to reflect  aspects of CHs 5-6-7 as part of their study on igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rock- this will facilitate mid- term exam preparation. This week.. students are to prepare their NTBKs for Ch 5.1 and  5.2. We will focus on the Bowen’s Cycle. Mid week, we will complete an activity on the Bowen’s Cycle( research, poster). We will also make rock candy and/or edible geodes as part  of an extension on crystalization.
