St. Luke's Sports Medicine

Notre Dame High School and St. Luke’s University Health Network are partnered to deliver athletic training and orthopedic services to our Notre Dame High School student-athletes.  Our board-certified athletic trainers provide services such as injury prevention, management of athletic injuries, emergency care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. In addition, the department strives to integrate education about athletic injuries so that student-athletes can be empowered to lead healthier lives. The Sports Medicine Department is compliant with the Code of Ethics outlined and mandated by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Board of Certification Standards of Professional Practice. Our Sports Medicine team is nationally certified and licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Mission Statement:

We strives to provide every student-athlete with comprehensive, high quality individual health care in a professional, efficient, compassionate and service-oriented manner. The Sports Medicine Department will provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries. Educating the student athlete throughout the process will be integrated as well. The Sports Medicine Department will use an evidence-based practice approach as well as PIAA best practices to provide the highest quality of healthcare at Notre Dame High School.
