General Information
Notre Dame Varsity Boys Tennis is played on the 4 courts located on the ND campus. The boy’s season begins when the snow melts off the courts in the spring and ends mid-May. ND participates in the Colonial League and District XI at the 2A level. Match play consists of 3 singles and 2 doubles. Player order on the team is determined by challenge matches played during early practices. ND provides uniforms and tennis balls. All other equipment (racquet, shoes, etc.) is each player’s responsibility.
Coaching Philosophy
I am dedicated to instructing our athletes in the necessary skills to excel in competition and continue their athletic journey beyond high school. Moreover, I emphasize the importance of perseverance and teamwork.
About Coach Behrens
Coach Behrens participated in both Division 2 tennis and Division 1 soccer during his college years. He went on to play professional soccer and continues to appreciate the valuable experiences and lessons learned through sports
