Chapters 6-7 Quiz on Monday. Reading and discussion was completed today.
Chapters 6-7 Review.
- Rusty-James was expelled from his high school and he would have to attend Cleveland High where Biff and his gang ran the school. The counselor told Rusty that the alternative is Youth Detention Center, but Rusty-James figured he had a few weeks of not attending any school before the officials figured it out.
- Patty got off the bus and ignored Rusty-James. She said she was breaking up with him for going to the lake with another girl. Rusty couldn’t understand what that had to do with the two of them. He realized he’d miss Patty and thought he might actually cry, but the feeling passed.
- There was a picture of Motorcycle Boy in a magazine taken by a photographer in California. Rusty-James wanted to tell everyone about it but Motorcycle Boy said he wanted him to be quiet about it.
- Rusty-James said he was scared when the Motorcycle Boy smiled.
- Rusty-James liked the city, especially the lights, the colors, and the energy.
- Motorcycle Boy didn’t drink because he liked to be in control.
- Steve was shocked by what he saw on the screen so he left to go to the bathroom. Because he didn’t return, Rusty-James and the Motorcycle looked for him. Then they all left the movie theater.
- Motorcycle Boy said when he was six, their mother took him to California. Their father got drunk and left two year old Rusty-James alone for three days. Motorcycle Boy saw their mother when he recently was in California and she wanted him to stay with her. Rusty-James was upset because his brother had not told him this when he first returned home.
