Monday, November 4th – students will review the ABO Blood system: this will include antigens and antibodies and agglutination.

Lab – Blood Typing

• students will be given 7 samples of blood to process and type
• students will be given one sample from the “crime scene” and will process and type
• students will complete blood typing packet

Wednesday, November 6th – students will have a brief introduction  to blood spattering

Lab – Blood Spattering Analysis

• students will be given a number of blood spatters and will determine the point of impact, etc.

Friday, November 8th – students will have a brief introduction to Hair and Hair analysis

• students will work with various samples identifying human hair from animal hair
• students will conduct microscopic identification of human and animal hair
