Continuing in Chapter 5A ~La fiesta de cumpleaños . . . Students will be learning vocabulary related to family relationships, celebrations and parties, ages, expressing possession, and understanding cultural perspectives on family and celebration.

Tuesday, 9/10:  TB: pp. 222-223, Actividades # 1 & 2 (listening).  Completed in binder: TB p. 226:  #4 (complete sentence), and #5 (choose correct word). Read fondo cultural: El papel picado (Mexico).  Hand-outs (H/O):  5A Vocab sheet and 5A Flash card templates. HW: Flash cards due on Thursday.  See Homework heading on class page for additional information.

Thursday, 9/12: Homework check- Flash cards. TB p. 227: Speaking, listening and writing exercises # 6 & 8. HW:  Complete Core Practice pp. 85-86 (5A-1 & 5A-2) and study for Monday’s vocab quiz. ¡OJO! Quiz format is matching and multiple choice.
