  • TB pp. 170-171 (Francisco de Goya /«El quitasol»)
  • TB pp. 172-173:
    • Pronunciation of new vocabulary
    • Reading and comprehending short dialogues with new vocab
    • Actividades # 1 & 2 /Listen and response exercises
  • HW:
    • Periods 3 & 7 should begin working on 4A flashcards, due on Thursday.
    • Period 6 should complete Core Practice pp. 67 & 68 due on Thursday.

Wednesday, April 24:

  • Liturgy/Shortened class periods
  • TB p. 176 #4-vocab practice in binders. Write complete sentences.
  • TB p. 176 #5-complete more vocab practice on graphic organizer, describing how often you go to certain places.
  • HW:
    • Periods 3 & 7: Complete Core Practice pp. 67 & 68, due on Thursday.
    • Period 6: Complete 4A flashcards, due on Thursday.

Thursday, April 25:

  • **HW check of Core Practice pp. 67 & 68 and 4A Flash cards.
  • Review of Core Practice pp. 67 & 68 (vocabulary [locations and activities]), use of al (a + el),  and use of para + infinitive verb).

Friday, April 26:

  • TB P. 177: Read the fondo cultural on “strolling” in the plaza mayor. Discussed other social gathering places.
  • TB p. 177 # 7: Students wrote 6 dictated Spanish sentences related to the painting of the plaza mayor, and translated.
  • TB pp. 174 & 175: Videohistoria (Un chico reservado). More practice reading, listening, and comprehending vocabulary related to activities after school.
  • Students practiced reading the parts from the Videohistoria.
  • Viewed Videohistoria and followed with discussion.
  • No HW
