Spanish 1 classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday this week.

  1. Homework check and review: Practice WB pp. 40-42. (15 pts.)

  3. Introduction to verb estar: to be

  2. Core Practice p. 43 with partners, and reviewed as a class
  3. Guided Practice, pp. 79-80: introduction to plurals of nouns, definite articles and indefinite articles
  4. Homework: Core Practice p. 45 (plurals)
  5. Future:
    • Review p. 44 and continue in Core Practice packet
    • Review interrogatives

Periods 3 & 4:

  1. Review of subject pronouns, and -ar verb conjugations, in general.
  2. Reviewed the IRREGULAR conjugation of estar-to be.
  3. Notes on Interrogatives in Spanish
  4. Core Practice p. 43 with partners, and reviewed as a class
  5. Core Practice p. 44 -reviewed HW and more practice with estar
  6. Guided Practice
  7. Homework:
    • Period 3: Complete Guided Practice pp. 79-80. If Guided Practice is already complete-complete Core p. 45.
