1. Use 8 1/2″ x 11″ ruled notebook paper.
   • No shreds remaining after taking paper from a spiral notebook.
   • Paper will not have ripped holes.
   • Paper will not have been folded, crumpled, or mutilated.
2. Only use blue or black ink. No pencil or other colored pens.
3. When writing a paragraph, double-space the writing. Basically, write on every other line of ruled notebook paper.
   • Indent each paragraph one-half inch.
4. Leave 1″ margins on all sides.
   • Follow red lines for left and right margins.
   • The top margin is the unruled space at the top.
   • The bottom margin will be the last couple of lines at the bottom left blank.
5. For this particular assignment, please skip a line after each numbered statement.
6. Writing will be legible.
7. All punctuation will be inserted, including inverted exclamation and question marks, sentence end-marks, and accent marks (over vowels when appropriate).
