Monday, Sept. 30:

• Continuing practice with numbers, telling time, and review of Para Empezar vocab up to this point.
• Complete Core Practice WB p. 4 (B.), telling time.
• Complete Core Practice WB p. 11 (Organizer)
• Create a basic dialogue of 10 lines covering greetings, introductions, farewells, etc.
• Homework:  Write a list of numbers in Spanish from 0-35.

Weds., Oct. 2:

• Homework collected for credit.
• Introduction to classroom objects, TB pp. 10 & 11, # 1, 2 & 3 (thinking, listening, speaking and writing).
• Introduction to Spanish nouns, gender, and definite articles el and la.
• Spanish alphabet song
• Homework: Core practice,  p. 6 (el/la and classroom objects)

Friday, Oct. 4:

• Introduction to Spanish calendar & the date, including days of the week, and months of the year.
• TB pp. 14 & 15, #8 & 9.  Verbal exercises practicing related vocabulary.
• Focus: expressing birthdays in Spanish.
• Homework: Core Practice pp. 7 & 11.
