Trying to ZOOM

Hi, all: hoping to ZOOM a class discussion tomorrow. Please let me know in Remind if you can do 11 am on Friday 3/20. I will send directions when I know we can all be there.

In the mean time, start to investigate CHORES (per our argument evidence sheet) for your argument on each person’s responsibility to their fellow humans.  Think about this quote in relation to the current “Coronamageddon” situation. Please note that the words in the [brackets] are what I added.

“The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword. If you would take a man’s life, you owe it to him to look into his eyes and hear his final words. And if you cannot bear to do that, then perhaps the man does not deserve to die [at your hands].”
― George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones

After all, are we not our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers?
