Notre Dame Social Studies promotes a theme of inquiry.
Where are we in the world–time and place? What are the foundations of our Western Civilization? How was our nation formed? How was our government formed? How does it work? A student’s place in American and World society?
So many questions to ask and to answer: so many to ask without clear answers. How does what came before us affect our lives now? How may what came before affect our future? What is our role for now and for the future?
Visit the Course Selection Book (found under Academics) on the school’s web page for a complete list of Social Studies course offerings and descriptions.
